How can I tell whether a product is suitable for my clothing?

Start with the garment’s care label. Check its fabric composition, washing instructions, permitted temperatures, and drying requirements, then compare these with the product’s intended use.

For embellished, printed, coated, loosely knitted, or specially finished garments, appearance alone is not enough to determine compatibility. If the product information doesn’t answer your question, contact us with the product link and a photo of the garment’s care label.

Are other items shown in product photos included?

Refer to the package contents listed on the product page and the option you select. Clothing, furniture, storage accessories, and other styling items shown in lifestyle photos are included only when expressly stated.

Laundry & Fragrance

What is the difference between laundry detergent and fabric softener?

Laundry detergent cleans clothing. Fabric softener adds softness and fragrance to suitable fabrics and does not replace detergent.

Where, when, and how much to add can differ between the two products. Follow each product’s directions and confirm that the garment allows the use of fabric softener.

Is lingerie wash suitable for all intimate apparel?

Compatibility depends on the detergent’s formula, the garment’s fabric, and its care requirements. Check both the product information and garment label, paying particular attention to lace, stretch fabrics, decorative details, and specialty materials.

Hand-wash garments labeled “hand wash only.” A dedicated lingerie detergent does not change a garment’s care restrictions or mean that all intimate apparel can be washed the same way.

How do I choose a fragrance? Do all scented products smell the same?

Different products may have different fragrances. Refer to the scent description on the relevant product page and the option selected. Do not use bottle color alone to identify a fragrance.

Scent perception and how long a fragrance lasts can vary with personal sensitivity, the amount used, fabric type, and environmental conditions. If you have specific fragrance preferences or ingredient restrictions, review the available information before purchasing.

Can fabric spray replace washing?

No. Fabric fragrance spray is primarily used to add scent. It does not replace washing and should not be treated as a stain remover or disinfectant unless the specific product expressly provides those functions with supporting information.

Before applying it to fabric, confirm compatibility and test a small, hidden area. Follow the bottle directions, avoid soaking the material, and allow it to dry before use.

Garment Care Appliances & Accessories

Which garments can I dry with a portable clothes dryer?

Check the appliance instructions for capacity, temperature, loading directions, and compatible items. Also confirm that the garment’s care label permits the intended drying method.

A portable dryer has different loading limits from a full-size dryer. Do not overfill the drying area or obstruct any air inlets or outlets that must remain clear.

Can I use a garment steamer on every fabric?

Do not assume that every fabric is suitable for steaming. Check whether the garment allows steam or heat treatment and follow the appliance instructions.

When treating a garment for the first time, test an inconspicuous area. Never steam clothing while it is being worn.

Should I use a fabric shaver or a clothes brush?

These tools address different needs:

• Fabric shaver: Removes small fabric pills from compatible materials.

• Clothes brush: Helps lift surface dust and loose lint from suitable garments.

Test a hidden area before using either tool. Take particular care with loose knits, thin fabrics, and embellished garments. Avoid pulling the material or repeatedly working over the same area.

Does a small-garment care appliance necessarily disinfect or sanitize clothing?

No. A product’s appearance, name, or lighting effects do not establish that it disinfects or sanitizes.

Refer to the specific appliance’s stated functions, instructions, and supporting documentation. Heating, drying, and other care processes should not automatically be treated as disinfection or sanitization.

Do dryer balls go in the washer or the dryer?

The dryer balls shown in our collection are intended for compatible tumble-drying use. Follow the product directions when adding them to a dryer with suitable laundry, including the recommended quantity and load size.

Do not confuse dryer balls with other types of laundry balls. Always check the garment’s care label to confirm that tumble drying is permitted.

Does a sweater wash bag make every sweater machine washable?

No. A wash bag provides an additional protective layer for suitable garments. It does not make a “hand wash only” or “dry clean only” sweater machine washable.

Only machine-wash garments whose care labels permit it. Follow the specified cycle, water temperature, detergent, and drying instructions.

What should I check before buying a garment care appliance?

Check the rated voltage, frequency, plug type, operating conditions, and intended use. Confirm that the appliance is compatible with the power supply where you plan to use it.
